Previously, we have give you simple tutorial to root the Sony Xperia X10 Mini, Now, it’s time to update your Sony Xperia X10 mini with Android 4.0 Alpha firmware. Sony Xperia X10 mini is the new Xperia phone from Sony.
Before we start this update, there are some features not working, such as: GSM, WiFi, 3D, Bluetooth, Rotation/G-Sensor. One thing that you must notification is that this update is Alpha version (Alpha 2). If you are understand with all of explanation above, now you need to must back-up your data.
Now, let see the procedure to Install the Android Ice Cream Sandwich in your Sony Xperia X10 Mini.
1. Download the ICS Android 4.0 Alpha package, in your computer
2. Connect your handset to your computer by using USB Cable
3. Copy the download zip file to your SD Card
4. Disconnect your handset > turn off your Sony Xperia X10 mini > Entering the RECOVERY Mode
5. Select the Install zip from SD Card > Select ICS Zip file
6. Select Go Back > Select Reboot system now
